ICS CANADIAN THANKSGIVING DINNER 2016

THE EVENT: Great fellowship and a sumptuous, traditional, three-course Thanksgiving meal, a Canadiana 'favour' at the door and a FREE door-prize draw ticket* accompany the Adult Menu ticket. A Canadiana favour accompanies the 8-to-16 Years Menu ticket; a small gift comes with a Children’s Menu ticket. All ticket prices include a gratuity.
THE TIME: 3:15 p.m. for 4:00 p.m. Dinner will be served at 4:00 p.m. Please be on time!!!
THE SETTING: The Belmont Room of O'Connor's Restaurant in Donnybrook.
PARKING and DART and BUS ACCESS: Neighbourhood parking; Bus Routes 46A, 145 and 75; nearest LUAS stop: Ranelagh, plus a cab ride or 10 minute walk; nearest DART stop Lansdown Road, plus a cab ride or 20 minutes walk.
MENUS:The Adult, 8-to-16 Years and Children's Menus are attached. If a vegetarian meal is required, please indicate that on the accompanying Prepaid Reservation/Remittance Form.
TICKET PRICES,including the extras noted above and a gratuity:
Adult Menu Ticket includes a carafe of wine or 2 half-pints of beer or 50 cl of home-made lemonade, a free door prize draw ticket and a Canadiana favour:
- Paid-up ICS members: 50.00 euro.
- Non-member adults: 55.00 euro. (Note: non-members who also remit the 2016-17 membership fee with their Dinner Reservation/Remittance are eligible for the reduced paid-up member Dinner price of 50.00 euro. See below.)
Menu for the 8-to-16-yearolds (reduced-portion main course) Ticket: includes a fruit cordial beverage and a Canadiana favour. (NO wine; NO draw ticket): 30 euro.
Children’s Menu Ticket: includes a small gift; NO draw ticket: 20 euro.
Note: For those remitting the 2016-17 annual membership fee together with the reduced paid-up member Dinner price (50 euro), the membership fee schedule is:
- For 2 adults living in the same household: 40 euro.
- For individual adults 18 and over: 25 euro.
- For fulltime students 18 and over: 15 euro.
Those remitting the ICS membership fee are asked to include also their postal and e-mail addresses and phone numbers.
(Paid-up member fees make it possible for ICS to operate at near breakeven, including providing event prizes and favours, maintain the ICS web site; and more. Paid-up members receive reduced event fees (free ICS Canada Day Picnic admission) and no-charge attendance at the annual Members Only Pre-Holiday reception held in conjunction with the Canadian Embassy. They also receive priority registration for limited capacity events and for entertainment-event free-ticket prize draws that arise from time to time. The Thanksgiving Dinner provides a further appreciation for paid-up members through eligibility for up to three of the initial door-prize draws.)
PREPAID RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED for planning and guarantee purposes. Prepaid Reservation/Remittance forms must include the number of Adult, 8-to-18 year olds and Children’s Menu tickets being paid for and whether a Vegetarian meal or a high chair is required.
